The module explores Shannon’s work through a sequence of animated explanations, visual examples, and learner-controlled interactions. Topics include measuring information, noise, compression, secrecy, and the broader influence of information theory.
The module was conceived as a self-contained visual story rather than a conventional slide presentation. Its interface, illustrations, motion, pacing, and interactions were designed to guide the learner through the material while keeping the experience clear and engaging.
I also developed a custom Python workflow that used ChatGPT to generate the narration, allowing the voiceover to be produced and revised alongside the visual design. The finished module combines graphic design, instructional design, animation, audio production, and interactive development.
